Okay, so someone told me they'd hold onto one of my dream villagers for me (Lionel) and they recently told me that he's moving on the 14th, which is tomorrow. My town is full. But I figured I would be all set, because Molly the duck said she was moving in my game (and I TT, so I could move her out whenever). So I continued playing as normal. And then JUST a few minutes ago, she told me she wasn't moving anymore. So now I have to quickly find a villager to move out who ISN'T one of the dreamies I already have. Because I need room for Lionel.
This wasn't the first time she's done this. She once told me she was moving and then I was going to give her to someone who had her as a dreamie, and then she decided not to move. I didn't even say a word to her. She just decided not to pack her things up on her moving date.
I didn't mind her. She was a pretty cute little duck. But now I really just want her to leave. UGH.

Was there a time when a villager did something really irritating/inconvenient for you? If so, share your story!

Ummm, if she changes he mind after you say she can go, you can just reset, and talk to he again. Just do it until she decides to go!

If I don't like a villager and they decide to move out, I completely ignore them until moving day. :/

Yeah, I should probably do that from now on. I really don't want to make this mistake again OTL

I check with the moving villager each day, making sure they confirm they're moving until moving day. If they say, "Nah, ain't gonna. JK," then it's quit without saving, until they say yes.

That's a bit unnecessary. If you completely ignore them, then they'll never get a chance to tell you they've changed their mind, and they'll always move. Better to never speak to them after they tell you they're moving. The very best is to never speak to them period and instead learn that they're moving from somebody else.
