I just got on the game today and both of my gold roses are now gone I was hosting on turnnip exchange my villager was crafting something and I was letting people in

:'( oh no im so sorry that happened to you! man it's so discouraging to see several threads about members and their bad experiences while hosting for something. some folks plainly just sucks. how many people did you let on your island at once? maybe it's better if you do a limited amount at a time if you do decide to try again

It sucks to hear about this... especially how nice of a community animal crossing can be but you can always get them back! I suggest putting fencing to where people should not go to avoid people from plucking flowers or taking dropped items you dont want them to take

man...definitely do try what Vextro have suggested above if that's the case then. Put down fencing around areas where there are things that you do not want stolen (hybrids & money trees to name a few) so that they won't be accessible while your island is open to other visitors. the roses will grow back if they weren't shoveled up from the ground! only best friends can bring out shovels/axes while on your island so if you didn't accept anyone's request to be bffs, you should be fine!

That really sucks dude :/ I agree about fencing them off, that's probably what I would do, but it totally sucks that you'd have to. I hope the vast majority of your trades and whatnot on here are good, in my experience *most* people here are really legit. Just sucks that it takes the few bad apples to leave such a crappy impression.
