WOW. That's really all I have to say. I mean, I could say more but all I keep coming back to is WOW after seeing that movie.

Such a great movie. The ending is powerful, and the action is plentiful. Its just such a great movie and I recommend it to everyone.

It looks really good. Hopefully I can go see it with my friends before I leave for Christmas.

My friend said it was pretty good, darker and stranger than he expected... he also said the ending was totally unexpected.

If this is what I'm thinking of, I've heard the book is completely different, but they're both fantastic. I haven't heard much though, I may see it, who knows.

I just saw it yesterday. I loved it. Spoilers> I never thought he would kill himself in the end. That was kind of controversial (Is that the word I'm looking for?) for me.

Also, during the movie he was trying to find a cure. But what did he expect to do with it once he found it? He couldn't possibly hope to cure 5 billion "people" alone...

How was that controversial? He did it to kill the zombies to stop the "zombies" from killing the woman and her kid.

With the cure they don't have to distribute it to everyone but with it they have an actual defense against the "zombies" that would reduce their numbers and the colony gets larger.

I dunno, I thought it was cool but it just seemed like he could've just thrown it through the hole in the glass and then hid in the cave.

This is true, but he didn't know about the colony when he was trying to find the cure. And chances are, he couldn't save enough people to form his own colony alone. But I guess if you're the last man on Earth you need something to do.

The cave wasn't a safe guard against the zombies. It was a safe guard against the grenade. He didn't take any chances either. By attacking the zombies he made sure that it made it on the other side of the door. If you look at the explosion it broke the rest of the glass easy. Everything was on fire. He was going to die and went out guns ablazing.

If spent all that time worrying about how to distribute it he would have never made it in the first place. You need to think about the answer and not the problem. He only thought about survival and the cure. At the end God spoke to him and everything clicked. He gave her the cure knowing that she would make it to the colony if he could kill the zombies.
