Most of the people on here have one favorite villager forever. But ever since I reset my first town, I've always been changing my favorite villager and I hate it! I guess I just don't let it happen naturally or so. Does anyone else do this? Also does anyone have advice on choosing a favorite villager xP
Nah, I've stuck with Kid Cat as my fave for awhile now. And as for choosing, well, you'll just find on eventually I guess. You really have to just let it happen. I don't know what else to tell you.
I'm sort of like that. I'm usually stuck between Tangy and Ken. Ken always throws my birthday parties, but Tangy is my only peppy and we were BF's in Wild World. Ugh, don't make me chose ><
I love a lot of villagers, but Walker has been my #1 since Wild World when I saw him in a book. Before that, it was Pompom, but that love hasn't carried through the games. Walker is just so adorable, and lazy personality is my favourite. But I totally understand changing favourites! There are just so many good villagers!
From the moment I saw Gladys, she became my favorite. No other villager can give me the memories or attachment she has, since they haven't been with me enough, and I've never gave them the same attention. I'm not sure if I'm explaining this well or not. :x I wouldn't try to force yourself to have a favorite, it doesn't work that way. Maybe someday one of your villagers will stick.

There are too many I really like.
Muffy, Rudy, Croque, Lobo, Caroline, Broccolo, and there are so many more that I want to get to know,
especially the ones I've marked as dreamies.
So, it's impossible for me to pick just one favorite. I never played any of the previous games.
So, I have no nostalgic attachment to any villagers, either.

For AC though, I can't even remember who I used to consider my favorite. As soon as Molly came into the world I've been in love with her. So adorable and friendly.
My first ever favorite villager was Maple. She was a starter (and a srs cutie ofc) so I naturally became attached to her. Over time Hazel became my favorite, and then Gladys, once she moved in (and slowly began to overshadow Maple as The Cutest Normal Ever). Idk man I just go with the flow. Who says you have to have one favorite that you stick with forever.
I feel like the only person obsessed about Joey to the point where I look him up and stare at pictures of him and look at tumblrs posts under the hashtag "acnl joey" or anything related to that.
For me, I determine my favorite villager by personality, cuteness, and experience eith that villager. So for Joey, he's adorable with a lazy personality and he was my starter in my first acww town. I also got his pic in acww so yeah.
