Okay. My dad just registered me for the ACT. Test month is February. University of Minnesota requires the writing test...

*attempts to stabilize breathing*

Is the writing test difficult at all? How about the rest of the ACT?

well I took the test twice, first one without the writing, second one with. I got a 27 and then a 29, so the writing though I hate it didn't hurt me too much...

Honestly just stay calm and if you don't know a question skip to ones you know right away and get back to it at the end. That way you don't run out of time and miss some that you should have gotten.

Is it hard to formulate an opinion on a subject, write stuff out... ALL IN HALF AN HOUR?!

Or wait, how long does the writing test take?

you know I forget although I am versed in speed writing thanks to a horrible procrastination problem... I did my last history research paper the night before and got a B. I am not complaining

:P

It's super easy. I got a 32 last spring on the ACT...

As for the writing, it's about a 6th grade level essay that you're expected to write...

Yeah, I need a 24 to get admitted.

B-b-b-b-but... it needs to be hand-written, on the spot... right?

As much as I hate to admit it, you will probably have no problem getting more than a 24. All juniors have to take this test next year anyways, and I think I will take the SAT as well sometime soon.

Bul...knowing you...

There is no reason you've gotta' worry like this. You're gonna' do great.

No duh he will do well, I'll be surprised if he gets under a 30. Heck my score is supposedly great, and I am no straight A student.

Sounds easier than the SAT. D:

I'd prlly give it a shot instead if I felt like going through the trouble
