So a few of you might have seen, but I'm currently working on a project where I test pretty much every combination of flower to see what flowers/hybrids they can spawn.
Well, I started this project two days ago, and I'm slowly getting things ready. But I do have a few combinations going as a 'testing ground' to see how viable my plans are. I'm starting with Tulips, since it is a flower I have a lot of and because of how easy they are to work with when it comes to hybrids -- no hybrid base red flowers and the like to fret over.
With that said, I do have some pretty surprising early results! It's actually pretty surprising what flowers can spawn from these combinations, and it really does show that a more in-depth hybrid guide needs to be out there. Now, a lot of these combinations are very nonoptimal, but I still think this is information that should be known.
Now I do know that I legitimately can't test everything, there are far too many variables to test, considering how these flowers store data from their parents they spawn from, but I'm still going to aim for generalized data that anyone can work with. So, here's some of the combinations I've been working on and some results from those combinations I've found, just as a small 'preview' of what is to come (hopefully) by the end of next week.
Please note these are all Tulip combinations:
- White + Purple: can spawn Yellow Tulips, potentially Purple and Pink Tulips (more testing required).
- Orange + Yellow: can spawn Orange and Purple Tulips (unsure of Purple, but I swear I've gotten my Purple Tulips this way).
- Orange + Red: can spawn Red Tulips, potentially Purple and Black (more testing required).
So, yes, hopefully I can keep the motivation to keep this up to get this testing completed!
