Hybrid confusion

I'm trying to have all the flowers in my town be blue. (except I want purple tulips cause there aren't blue in those).
I'm a bit confused cause there are 3 guides I've found Here, here, and here, are all different. Which one is the most accurate?

I think the 3rd one looks the most accurate (due to it's blue rose explanation), but they all look good.

I'm right there with you. I only ever get pink and orange by mixing the standard colors. I do get black tulips but from two orange tulips. No guide anywhere says that.

So I'm just leaving my huge hybrid gardens as is and waiting until I finally get fertilizer to hopefully help me. Flowers I can't get no matter what I try: blue roses, purple tulips, purple pansies, black cosmos.

The best way to get hybrids is to buy two of the desired hybrid from someone and breed them together. Thats what I did for my blue roses.
I could give you 2 blu roses for free to get you started, if you want.

This is what I did, I got 2 blue roses for free ^o^ If I breed some more I may do a blue rose giveaway. That's off-topic but

The first one also has an explanation on blue roses. I was mainly confused because, say, the first one says for blue pansies you should cross white and white, yellow and white, or blue and blue. But the other two say you can only get it from crossing two whites.
