Exactly. A low payment phone or something like a go phone or a trac phone is good enough. I don't see why people would pay so much money on these phones with useless features on them.Nic said:Get a regular phone. Don't get all the hi-tech gadget phones.
Uh, do you realize how expensive a iPhone is? ;lTyeforce said:I'd recommend an iPhone 4... But I'm guessing you're a Droid person, so you probably wouldn't even consider an iPhone... >_>
Wasn't Apple going to recall the Iphone 4 because of some kind of signal problem when you hold it?Tyeforce said:I'd recommend an iPhone 4... But I'm guessing you're a Droid person, so you probably wouldn't even consider an iPhone... >_>

The features are by no means "useless". Smart phones are very, very useful. Are they absolutely needed? No. But they do come in handy, and it's nice to have an all-in-one device that you can play your music on, browse the web, record and edit video, read books, and so much more, and, of course, it's also your phone. If you don't need all that extra stuff, then a smart phone isn't for you. But if you want the experience of a smart phone...well, get a smart phone, lol.Schnookumnookum said:Exactly. The 16GB model is $199. It's money well spent, trust me. I just upgraded to an iPhone 4 from a crappy old TracFone. I have no regrets. The iPhone is amazing...Rogar said:Uh, do you realize how expensive a iPhone is? ;lTyeforce said:I'd recommend an iPhone 4... And i've had this phone for ages. It barely does what it was meant to do anymore. I do believe it's time to upgrade to a better phone.
No, they're not recalling it, but they are giving out free cases. And only about 1% of iPhone 4 users experience the signal problem (which can be solved by using a case around the phone). It's been blown up way too much by the media. I've never experienced the issue on my phone at all. (But I'll still enjoy the free $30 case. XD)Schnookumnookum said:Wasn't Apple going to recall the Iphone 4 because of some kind of signal problem when you hold it?Tyeforce said:I'd recommend an iPhone 4... I'm really amazed by Apple's products and all, so maybe i'll reconsider into buying a cheap iPhone. But if i'm going to buy 4G, i'd probably wait until Apple fixes the problems.Tyeforce said:The 16GB model is $199. It's money well spent, trust me. What he said.Nic said:Get a regular phone. Don't get all the hi-tech gadget phones.
Every smart phone has that problem. It's nothing unique to the iPhone 4. It just got over-exaggerated by the media. The previous iPhone models, as well as other smart phones, have had this problem, too, and will continue to have it. It's not very noticeable, and it only affects about 1% of iPhone users. Like I said, I've never experienced the problem myself at all, and I haven't been able to replicate it, either.Numner said:But the reception problems.Tyeforce said:I'd recommend an iPhone 4... Iphone seems like a bad choice really.

Get the iPhone 4 now if you want it, and in the unlikely event that you do experience signal drop problems, use the free case that Apple will be giving out.
