How's your town unique?

wow i thought i was the only one, i dont know why everyone uses paths, 90% of them dont look natural, if you could make paths as apart of the mayor's duties and they looked like the cobblestone around the town square then i would be all in, but they usually just look out of place and cheesy.

i havent gotten to the spring yet but im sure the dirt paths will look better.

I wish it was easier to find paths that looked natural and weren't the right shade. Or maybe even paths that had transparent tiles. It's impossible though!
All I wanted twas natural stones in my town. It's really unfortunate. I hope some day they add support for transparent pathing. I suppose the reason they don't is because patterns are treated for clothing first. They should add in a special path section in our patterns....

so true if they changed that and changed the way you can place PWPs the game would be perfect, all they need to do is give you a grid when your placing the PWP's so you know where you can place it and you dont have to keep hearing isabel telling you that its too close to the river.

Many people say that my town layout is great, but I don't think that makes my town unique. I think that also some other people have the same layout.
Even if the layout would be completely similar to others, many things can be different, like the paths, villagers, PWP, placement of PWP,...
Because of that, I think my town is unique because I think everyone's town is unique and everyone has its own charm :)

Bump! :) wow so many great responses so far yet I still want to know from the others who haven't replied.... how is your town unique? ;)

I like to think my town is kind of unique because I use only white flowers (and the occasional purple violet as accents)!
I also use a combination of clovers, mushrooms and stepping stone pattern tiles for paths which I hadn't seen done before! :)

hm i dont think mine is unique, but its just nice

damian (truexgentleman) helped me plan some parts of my town <3

um, i think my town is unique!! i dont cut down trees that arent perfectly layed out, i only cut them down if they are obstructive or in the way of my path.

Who knows, maybe they'll put some of that in when they eventually make a WiiU Animal Crossing. If they do, that may just be why I get a WiiU, haha.

Ooh I visited your dream town last night, enjoyed my time there so much, definitely unique !!

And I don't think anything is unique in my town, not yet at least.. hmm..

I think I might have chosen the worst town layout for PWP placement (I didn't know about plot resetting at the time)... but somehow I managed to work with it and fell in love with it. I guess that's why it's unique... no one really goes for straight rivers that cut the town in half here as far as I can tell. Everyone wants a winding river with a nook, which is cool (I'd like that too). I'm ok with mine, it just feels a lot smaller to me compared to other dream towns I've visited. You can walk everywhere relatively easily.

Who puts their mayor's house under a bridge and in front of the slope to the dock, and a cafe next to the mayor's house?

:p

My town is a soap opera.
Tiffany is my girlfriend, but Annalise has a crush on me. Bam, Zucker and Ankha are my best friends, and Julian is the gay guy that everyone loves. He is Ankha's best friend, and Julian has a crush on Bam. Bam is also secretly gay, but he has a crush on Zucker, who is straight and has a crush on Annalise. Meanwhile, Alice and Bill are our archenemies.
