How's everyone doing finding Fall recipes?

I'm finding the process pretty frustrating so far. It also seems like there are periods when the game decides to stop giving recipes and just gives bells and materials for hours, but that may just be bad luck. I didn't find any recipes by chance before I began dedicated hunting, but I've managed to get a few from dedicated hunting over the past couple of days. Still, I don't have a ton of free time, and I'm not looking forward to spending hours hunting for balloons every five minutes to complete the set.

I avoided having to hunt any of the Halloween ones down via balloons, at least (got all of those from animals crafting them + the Halloween event). The maple leaf ones are frustrating, though, as there's such a limited window for them. I recall the hunt being pretty frustrating in the spring for the cherry blossom ones (I think it took me about 25 hours), and I don't really want to put in that much time hunting for these ones).

I'm more concerned about the Christmas ones, as those are the ones I actually want to use for decorating (and I'd like to start decorating my island sooner rather than later, which may be an issue given that I don't want to time travel). But hopefully things will speed up at a certain point.

I was balloon farming for days. The only one I got was the leaf pile that Isabelle gives you. I FINALLY got lucky two days ago. I ended up getting all the recipes except one, and I got it early the next day. I was starting to think my game was defective. It did take about three hours of balloons farming, but was worth it.

i have found none of the fall recipes. finding acorns and pine cones also is challenging like how many times do i have to shake this stupid tree ;lkjhbgfv

I'm doing alright. Been farming balloons on the beach. Finding the maple-leaf Diys is a little frustrating though. Can't get the Leaf stool for the life of me.

I wish they were available for more than 10 days! Or have the villagers craft them like they did for some of the spooky set.

I found a few mush recipes but I ended up buying the ones I wanted on tbt.

I mostly found them as I was tearing down my town and rebuilding it, so it was slow go.

I got all the Halloween ones, but aside from that I’ve really been slacking on recipe hunting, so basically I started out 2 days ago needing all recipes aside from like 4 of the pine cone/acorn ones from September. After many hours of running the beaches, I’ve managed to collect all of the mush and maple leaf recipes, which just leaves the pine cone/acorn set.

im kind of losing steam though because it seems like that set is insanely rare for me. Like I thought for a while that those recipes were no longer available and that I’d have to time travel if I wanted them, but it seems they are still dropping? Unless I was just tired and misread the card. I literally got every single maple leaf recipe and 11/12 mush recipes without having a single pine cone recipe drop, and then finally one did, but of course it was one of the 4 I already had. This game seriously does not want me to complete that set.

I got all the acorn's bounty DIYs so easily -- so I'm surprised to see how hard I'm struggling with the mush and maple DIYs. I haven't found a single one, and I've spent like 2-3 hours balloon farming so far...

I'm down to two, I believe- the leaf pochette and the tree's bounty arch.

OF COURSE the arch is one of the ones I wanted the most I'm apparently guaranteed to always get one of my favorites last I think, lol

I've found...maybe like three mushroom recipes, and no maple recipes? I didn't even know there maple recipes until reading this thread, tbh.

I had way better luck with the cherry blossom recipes! I wish we could get the fall diys from our villagers or from letters in a bottle.

I have been searching every day, and I only got the Mush Wand and Table from the mushroom set, and the Leaf Campfire from the Maple Leaf set...

Along with the two Isabelle recipes, of course.

I have gotten so many 5000 Bell Balloons...

I still have none of the maple leaf recipes besides the one from Isabelle and I'm running out of time. I also barely found any of the mushroom recipes.

Just finished the whole fall collection (trees bounty, mushroom and maple leaf) yesterday. I'm ok with it, but I'm also aware I'm really privileged with the amount of free time I have to play. I can see how frustrating it would be for people with only a set amount of time per day to play.

yesterday i finally finished collecting the fall collection, but i still need the mushroom DIYs. almost there! i have about 4 of them, i'm pretty sure, with the recipe that isabelle gives us included.

I've been getting them pretty easily finally. For about a week I wasn't getting any mush DIYs from the balloons and I began to feel upset about that. Then they started showing up when someone on Twitter suggested looking out for a balloon and seeing which side of the island they show up, because they'll show up from the same side at certain hours of the day. Also to look at the 4 minute to 9 minute marks of the clock to check the coast for any balloons. It was weird, because one morning I saw a balloon off in the distance coming from the right, and when I tilted the camera to get a better view, there was a balloon overhead. There were two balloons, each going the opposite direction from one another.

Yay! Livia just got the last autumn recipe that she needed! Now I just have to collect them for my other island. It's not as important though because at least I can craft all the items.

I found my last mush recipe yesterday I think, and today I got the last 2 maple leaf recipes.

It took me 5 hours to get 1 recipe today... and it was one of the ones that I least wanted.

I have enough shrooms to bake Isabelle a dozen pies and so many maple leaves I could put them in my basement to swim in like Scrooge McDuck.

So far I have 2 mushroom DIYs and the red leaf pile. I play for a couple of hours every day and most of my balloons contain iron or bells.

I'm glad you got your collection. I want to be sure to get all these ones because I had a difficult time getting all the Cherry Blossom DIYs during Bunny Day (or week). The mush and maple leaf DIYs look great!
