How on earth do people have so many in game bells? seriously what are you guises secrets? I know you have to go to the island, and I do that all the time. But I see people bidding like 50 million on villagers and I just don't understand how people get so many bells. How do you get bells?

Knowing supply and demand, having a second game. Turnips and island farming also. It's very, very, VERY easy to make bells in this game. Personally, I live off of the profit from trading.

Learn to play the Stalk Market (and always watch for high prices in the Train Station section), sell Perfect Fruit on premium, sell your TBT in the TBT Marketplace, and sell off rares in the ReTail section/villagers in the Trading Plaza.

Classic beetle hunting works as well, but that gets boring quickly, so I'd only suggest doing this at the beginning.

If you get lucky with turnips, you can make an amazing profit with them. That's where most of them come from, I guess.

I learned supply + demand and occasionally dabble in turnips. I get a lot of enjoyment out of selling items, real life and video games. But I got a few million profit on my first turnip trade - so that's definitely worth it!

Some people like to play the stalk market, while other prefer to do bug catching late at night. There are a few tricks to get extra money when bug farming, such as selling them to lazy villagers in the campsite. You can also use the bell boom ordinance or just open a shop in Retail.

Be creative, and you'll be able to get lots of bells pretty easily.

duping???

Duping is a glitch where someone will visit someone else's town, drop off items, then leave, while someone will flick the wifi switch at just the right time. I just think it's way too stressful for it's worth. So I guess essentially someone could dupe a crown until they have tons of them.

I think duping might be the only thing I'm afraid to do >.< People talk a lot about how certain things can corrupt your game file. I don't think it's true for the villager reset trick or TTing in general, but with duping, idk >.>

I have made a lot of money through a combination of selling villagers, selling items on the Re-Tail board here, turnips, and beetle farming on the island. Once you start doing some of these I am sure you'll find yourself rich in no time. :) Best of luck!

I don't think it's true as well for TTing, because that was essentially put into the game by the makers :)

^^

I think some people get really upset at the idea that others TT...they call it "cheating" lol. So I think this rumor gets spread to discourage something perfectly safe just because a vocal few don't like it.

But actually on topic with this post, I had trouble making bells at first to, but then started trading turnips! It's the best way imo, if you have the space to store all of your turnips lol.

Myself. I was heavily involved in a mass stalk market group here on the forums. Eventually I made a killing, and even paid off my whole house. other games distracted me, school, etc. and I vanished, and for that I'm really sorry. But yeah, turnips works great, especially if you're in a group with many involved players working together.

As it's been said, turnips for some people, or in the case of many TBTers, Villager Trading, the Retail Board and duping. This time around it's easier to amass Bells than any other in the past, even without duping. I recently sold Diana to a duper friend for 50 million. I still haven't worked it all off and I've traded for several dreamies since then (sorry, bragging a little).

duping, powersave, turnips, island

tbh 3mil is the most ive ever had at a time bc I play fair like a good kid & i am terrible at gaming

I kind of wonder too because I'm not so into making Bells (especially because all of my mortgages are paid off now). But I mainly just beetle hunt or trade with people here. You can also enter giveaways. :) I find that starting a shop is a really good idea too; I've made over three million with mine already, and you and your customer end up happy! Plus, some people offer to take things for extremely high prices...
Also duping, but I don't like the idea of trying to cheat the game. I'm not trying to be offensive about that, but Bells really aren't everything.
