How will new games affect your ACNL

I just bought a new WiiU and still play ACNL every day. ACNL comes first and than I play the WiiU for abit and update my catalog while online.
I have preorder the new 3DS Tomodachi Life game. It looks interesting and will give it a try.
I still have the scorpion and tarantula in my 1st game to catch. That should keep me busy for 3 months.

It won't affect me since I don't have money for new games at the moment :p
Pokemon Alpha Sapphire looks so tempting though ...

I don't know whether I'll be playing much of the new games, but if I find a new game that I play a lot...
I'll probably just go on AC:NL long enough to talk to all my villagers, check flowers/stores/etc, ;v ;

New games do pull me away from playing AC. I will be writing down the last day I played and saved. So when I come back I just have to fix my time back to that date. That way its like I never left.

My Pokemon Y has been happily coexisting with my ACNL so far, thanks mostly to the fact that my town has reached the point of being pretty much complete so all I need to do is check my flowers, buy a holly bush if it's there, and find out if someone's moving. Of course I will be buying Α/Ω but I expect I'll still be able to check in on my town every day as usual. I'll just cut out something unnecessary. Like, hm, sleep...

I've never tried Super Smash Bros, so I'm not sure whether I'll even be buying it. I'll consider getting Omega Ruby, but same as with X/Y I'll probably wait for the price to drop slightly, ?40 for a game is too much in my opinion. I'm still waiting for X/Y to go down below ?32, so I imagine I'll be waiting a while, so I'll probably have got tired of New Leaf before I get any of the others. Once Monster Hunter 4 comes out though, I'll buy that release day, so every other game will be dropped while I enjoy it.

I have stopped playing about 2 weeks ago. My real life keeps me very busy at the moment and I also bought Dark Souls 2 and a new addon for Outlast. I check on my animals now and then because I want to know if someone is moving, but thats about it.
I have a feeling that I wont be playing this for a very long time...

I just got pokemon x so I wont get the new one (omega ruby seriously real original name Nintendo!) and I ditched my pokemon x for new leaf even though I have had it for wayyyyy longer.
But I will play ssb4 or Mario kart 8 when it come out though

I usually just remember the day that I stopped playing ACNL and when I'm done with the new games I'll pick up from where I left off. Thats what I just did with FFX/X-2 HD!

I saw this a while ago. It was true when Pok?mon xy came out and will probably be true for the new pokemon game for me. lol

I think the general online community of AC:NL players will remain relatively stable for some time. Personally, though, I've been taking a break from the game to play other things like Dark Souls II. Hopefully, an absence from it will renew my interest in it later, as that has been waning ever since I achieved the main goals I was shooting for. I have next to no interest in Super Smash Bros., and Pokemon, in general, has been "meh" in my book for a while now. I'm still not sure how I feel about the remakes.

I usually play New Leaf on weekends and a few weekdays, so I'll probably just stop playing on weekdays.

I figured that getting Pokemon Y would've effected my ACNL playtime, but yet I've still played it every day, while I haven't touched Pokemon in a while. Even when I do get my next game, I don't expect my time playing New Leaf to be effected much, either.
