How was your toy day?

It was a bit confusiong at first as I can't figure out which gift goes to which villager, but I got all of them right! :D

I really enjoyed it, played it quickly before bed last night aha. I'd prepared with some screenshots of the villagers, and got a laugh out of Colton changing into his white tee which now makes it look like he's naked.

I was missing a lot of hints (despite badgering my villagers all month), and Purrl didn't say anything about Toy Day except that she hoped it would snow.

So...I took what hints I had, and then the list of gifts in the bag, and made a grid logic puzzle to figure out who wanted what. After a couple, I actually figured out what Purrl wanted, and got it right. Woot! I will admit, I had to guess at one point with two villagers who wanted something "red", but I got it (Grizzly wanted a vacuum cleaner, and Scoot wanted a garden gnome).

Lolly threw off the entire puzzle, because she had told me she wanted something green.
Well, including the green on the garden gnome, that was one of two green items in the bag, and she hadn't wished for either of them. I'm glad I saved before checking my puzzle answers with the villagers, because she wound up getting an electric guitar (that's red!!). Then again, I don't think cats can see the color green, so that'd explain it.

I was a bit disappointed because in my town there was no snow - as last year there was I have thought toy day had snow "guaranteed" - also because quite a few villagers had been talking about how snow belongs to toy day and as they were hoping for snow.

It went well! Since my villagers love talking about their gifts I got what they wanted right for each of them. They also got some pretty funny dialogue about how familiar I seemed. c:

Wow why didn't any of my villagers asked for a banana.
Probably because they had more common sense than the cranky hamster living in my town did. |D

Haha update:

Hamphrey asked for a Banana for his present. He then pinged me and proceeded to sell me his banana for 800 bells (real rip off but I want that badge from Phineas).
Colton wanted a Weight Bench, and today he said it was "boring" and taking up space. He then asked for furniture to replace this. Sooo... I gave him his regal dresser back, which he had given to me earlier in the day, and it presumably got booted out of his house because his Weight Bench. At least the interior of his house looks much better now.

I planted the banana on the beach. Not like I needed to, but whatever. :p

I enjoyed it, although I had to try 3 times to get them all right! ^^ It was worth it though to receive Jingles pic in the mail this morning!

Since I wrote down both hints for each villager's gift, I made the correct choices. I also got the spare 'mystery bag' with my alternate character. So now my main character, who is always wearing the Santa suit, can carry around a bag, too.

I wrote down everyone's desires but I delivered 3 of them to the wrong person... At least I got 7 right I guess... -sigh-

That is hilarious Lolly xD! You're very clever, I don't know why I didn't think of resetting!

Aww! Sorry about that >.> if it makes them feel better it's Sunny here in New York (it was raining earlier too ...)

I wish I didn't give most out because it ruined some villagers' interiors I was trying to remodel :^(

This year's Toy Day was a lot more difficult than last year's. Francine and Apollo gave me absolutely no hints about what they wanted, so I had to reset a few times before I got them all correct. Even though it turned out fine in the end, I really hated disappointing my Apollo. :'( Lol.

I know how you feel! :c I disappointed everyone but they said they were glad to see Santa in person (they didn't suspect it was me).

For me
this is sign
of really poor game design,
Nintendo :(

Who knows, maybe they don't display them for very long?

Wow what is with your villagers being so indecisive with their gifts haha. But hey, new banana tree!
I read about Jingle being stuck in your orchard, Jingle was kind of stuck in a tiny path I made so I had to push him out of it lol so he was running into trees AND bushes!

It was adorable. Animal crossing is so cute. Everyone got what they wanted, although I almost mixed a couple up because two asked for a green and red doll, and I had two dolls which had pretty equal amounts of red and green.

Mine went really well surprisingly. I failed last year because I never got all the hints, but this year I got all except for 2.

Oh boy. I gave out the correct gifts, but I need to be better at making a list next year. I had to completely guess for Tia and Marshal's presents (even though I got them right)! :)

I gave everyone the right gifts yesterday on Toy Day, but most of the items were rubbish and will muck up the hard work I put into making the inside of the villager houses all good. I considered not giving out the gifts at all...but I felt mean, so I got over myself and made everyone happy with the junk they asked for, lol. I did use my second character to grab the mystery Santa bag to keep, hopefully he's still got it in his inventory today.

I was missing only a few hints, but I had sufficient information to give everyone the correct present! It felt so good to see them all so happy.

Wish Camofrog would have put on his Heart Tee, though. I knew he wanted "pink clothes" and I felt stupidly giggly at the idea of this cranky military frog wearing a pink shirt. :')
