I wouldn't say it's very safe. You're awfully young. In fact, a lot of people would have a babysitter to look after you.

Meh, It doesn't matter. My family doesn't do the rules, If there busy and they need someone to babysit it's either me or somebody else.

EDIT: I do not want to have a random babysitter either, They are random people, I do not know.
The babysitter could be a molester or something.

or you could ask your parents instead of creating a thread on an online forum about animal crossing.

Give her milk and play with her.
If she sleeps, you could sleep as well or just keep yourself occupied.

They need to get a babysitter for both of you tbh

Not saying that to be rude but you yourself are very young and shouldn't really be left home alone, especially with such a young child

I don't think that's legal.

I don't think smoking weed is legal for you.

I told my sister about what you said earlier.

She laughed so hard.

I would say just watch the baby, feed, change diapers when needed, give bottle when needed. The rest the time just follow the baby around and make sure they dont get into anything that would hurt or kill them. Thats your job, keeping them from killing themselves.

That doesn't really help her case that she finds her poor quality of parenting funny

But lmao @ your reply to Bowie that was a solid comeback

why didn't your sister tell you how to take care of her daughter :/
if it's your first time doing this, she would tell you what to do.

I would recommend staying on topic if you're talking about raising a kid. Not being rude, but I don't see how smoking has to do with child care.

It's actually true. Parents shouldn't be leaving any kid behind at home under the age of 12 without having anyone at the age of 13 or older. It's not that you're too young to babysit (in fact, you aren't), but it's about safety of children being left at home.

if you want to learn by yourself why are you asking people on the forums??

let your niece watch something like barney from an ipad/phone/etc and let her crawl around on her own surrounded by toys. just monitor her while sitting in the same room and keep yourself occupied by watching youtube videos or something along those lines. feed her snacks if she starts crying; i've never had any issues beyond that so im assuming it should work until your sister/parents get home
