How to save Designs?

Erm so i'm restarting my town in the next week, and im giving all my items to Tina to look after for a day or so so i dont lose anything! which im fine with
How do i save designs and patterns??

Um... Hmm...

Here's a couple of ways:
1) Display your designs at your friend's town and pick them up there
2) make QR codes and upload it to your computer so you can read them on your new game

Those work for things you've created.

For other people's designs, you'll have to save the QR codes or retrieve them, I think. There's no way to display them. =(

If you could go display them all in her Able's, then take the patterns back when you are done.

i know i can just find the pattern again for paths online
but for the town flag, i got that from a dream, so i probably wouldnt find it again

You can neither display (at able's) nor create a QR code for a design you've found in another town So it'll probably be lost forever, unless you remember where you got it.
