How to run a cycling town?

I tried googling it, but most of the guides I found were pretty confusing. I wanna try and get into the swing of it and maybe give people their dreamies, but I don't know where to start. Any tips for a newbie?

There's a guide for moving villagers out, tl;dr was skip 1 year, then 1 year, then 5 days to get someone in boxes.

You're welcome. I'm not a cycler, so I don't have much advice other than that xD.

Warning about that guide, you have to start with someone in boxes for it to work, you can't do it randomly. So just tt one day at a time until Isabelle announces it and you can go super fast. My advice is to get a picture taken and a campsite right next to your house as well.

I've also tried tting 2 years and then 5 days, tting it all at once- NO combination works, you have to do 1 year 1 year 5 days or nobody will be in boxes.

Finally, if you want to plot reset for a villager, the day of the 2nd year is when a villager will have their plot set up.
