Okay, so I desperately need Skye out as I'm trading her with someone.

Problem is, none of my villagers want to move at all.

I have 9 villagers, and am considering borrowing a campsite villager that visits simply to increase the chances of Skye wanting to move. I've tried being super nice to her, ignoring her for long periods of time, and making a new character to ignore her, but she still won't move.

Any ideas? I desperately need to get rid of her as soon as I can.

Anytime you see her, smack her around a little with the bug net/toy hammer until she gets depressed. Push her between two holes to trap her and you can just mash the "smack villager with tool" button while chilling out on the sofa with some TV.

Just give her the silent treatment. If she pings you, ignore her. If you talk to her and she asks for a favor, say yes and ignore it. I heard it lowers friendship.
OR
Befriend them! There will be a better chance of them to move when they ask you if they should.

I heard that you cant talk to them at all. The new character should work. That should be a week if all you do is just introduce yourself.

Skye was actually my best friend on the game before we organized the trade. Now I've stopped being as friendly towards her so as not to get too attatched, because I want Chevre, gorgeous set, and beans more (XD), so Julian's my best friend now since he just moved in and I luff him.

She keeps asking me for rare fish, so I'm just declining all her favors, because I can't do them. XD I don't have time to catch a Napoleonfish or Blue Marlin for someone who I'll just be getting rid of sooner or later.

I wish I could get beardo out of my other village and into my main:( so bad. I have nine villagers and soon 8. Pate is moving out on the 20th. I wish there was a fast way too.

Talking to a character builds them up a tier of being needed in the game. Without being spoken to, the game will see them as no longer needed and they will move out.
Since your main is best friends with her, you may wanna use an alt and JUST introduce yourself. She should move within a week.

Actually, the game will try to make them move if you befriend them to make it harder to get their picture.

If I do the alt char, will I need to greet everyone else? I know that if you don't greet someone, the game won't move them out, so I could ignore everyone and just greet Skye, preventing anyone else from trying to move and making Skye the only animal who can.

If she was a best friend that's weird that she doesn't want to move out..
Kiki and Punchy have asked to move out so many times because I'm closest to them o.O

Eh. There's a few guides out there personally the video linked there, and the one in my sig are what I use, but I always seem to have a couple stragglers. For them, I just talk to them instead of ignoring, but not overly talking to or doing favours and such and hope they may try to leave. :s

So far I have been spamming them with conversations for three days and then ignoring them for three days. It doesn't always work, but I think it is different for the personalities. I've got three villagers to move out at once (from my main and secondary towns and my sister's. I do all the TTing because she hates TTing villagers out). It really only works if you TT. TTing makes your good friends want to move out more often.
Skye is a normal type. I used this method to get out Marina, also a normal.
For cranky types, spamming conversations seemed to be enough.
Muffy (uchi) didn't like being ignored after talking her a few times and has asked to leave at least 5 times. Not yet Muffy! Trades first!
I always TT one day at a time (forward), so I have not ever lost a villager, yet. Hope this helps, but remember:
We all play differently. Even if we give step by step instructions, what works for one person, won't work for everyone. Good luck!

Also, it might help if you have multiple villagers with the same personality. I don't know.

EDIT: it might help to TT backwards a week or so. It helped me find out who wanted to move a lot faster.

Talking to them or even hitting them puts them into the 'friend category' which is a ladder that can go up or down but they wont leave that way. You could make another character and talk to them ONLY ONCE on that character and then they will move out after about a week, if you are into TT then you can TT day by day and ask one villager every day who will be moving out (by talking to them about 15-20 times) actually just go to the link Taygo posted! lol its all in there.

Ah. I'll talk to Skye over and over until she does that thinking thing, TT to the next day, spam convos, TT, spam convos, and then ignore her until she decides to leave. It wouldn't be the fact that I have no other normals, as Caroline (One of my dreamies :D) just moved in.

I've already watched that video, and I actually think it'd be faster if I continued to talk to her rather than ignoring her, as I'm already a best friend with her. Thus, making a new character isn't worth the grass wear, talking to Rover, and loss of tan on main char. (I mean, I could keep the tan, but I'm trying to get her out quickly and maintaining 2 chars, one which I need to spend at least 20 minutes out in the sun on to keep the tan, just isn't worth it.)
