how to make Katie stay in my town?

right now there's a little kitty called Katie in my town.

whenever i talk to her she wants me to take her to visit another town.

how do i get her to stay and move in to my town?

She's not a villager; she cannot move into your town permanently. You can tell her no when she asks you to take her to another town, but if you do, she'll be gone the next day anyway.

You can't make Katie move in. You can take her to someone's town and get a cool gift, though.

okay then, i'll take try to take her to another town... i hope someone has their gate open >_<

does this happen often? i.e. you get visitors that want you to help them?

I think the only other visitor who asks for help is Gulliver; he gives you a quiz and you have to figure out what country he was headed to from his hints. For some reason, I always tend to get Gulliver and Katie on the same day, so you might want to check your beach just in case.
