How to know if everyone has left island?

Is it possible to know if everyone has left the island after opening it via dodo code/Turnip Exchange? I shut down my Turnip Exchange and closed the gate, but there was at least one person still visiting. Is there an easy way to tell if he or she has left yet?

If you click the minus button on the top left controller you should be able to “view passports” and it’ll show you the passports for anyone on your island. If there are none to view then there’s no one there!

The easiest way that I know is to press the minus button. If there's someone on your island, it will give you the online options (end session, view passports etc) and if it asks to save and end you're all alone ^^
