How to kick people out of your town?

So I was wondering how do you kick people out of your town, if you suspect them of foul play or going to try to steal? I always see "flip the stiwch". are they referring to flipping the wireless switch on the side? or something else?
also what are the benefits of saving while people are in your town?
I went to sell turnips and the host, kept saying "I will constantly save". is that benefit the host or both visitor and host?

1) flip switch is easiest way, that way anything they have done to **** up your town wont be saved
2) saving is just to save progress, just like saving in offline play. If the game crashes it will restore from the previous save
3) selling constantly between turnip trips just as above, so if the game crashes on your last load, you don't need to go back and sell them all again, only one or two loads

Oh i understand now. But whats "flip the switch"? is that flipping the wireless switch?

Unfortunately it isnt possible to only kick out a single person, if you have more than one person over.
