How to I turn off streetpass for ACNL?

I've turned off spot pass on the menu when it loads up, is that the same thing?

You Must go to settings in the streetpass
And click new leaf so you won't receive streetpass

I'm going to sound stupid saying I don't know where the streetpass settings are now, aren't I

2. Data management
3. Streepass management
4. Click new leaf

I picked up scoot from a streetpass a couple of weeks ago and I'm wary again now I have a free space....
It's never the villagers you really love that you pick up by accident

I think it's in settings and management, once you want to start streetpass again all you have to do is talk to digby on main street cx
