How to I know if I get topiaries from Leif??

Nooooooooo he didn't mention at all and that's freak me out! ;_; so it turns up he actually gave me silently lol I wish I would have check with Isabelle before picking up all my clovers, is trouble to keep seeing the same message popping up *I picked a lucky clover!blah blah*

I just did something! I just checked with Leif and he gave me them, then I TTed to the next day then back, and he gave me furniture. Maybe you did it already and forgot.

Hahaha maybe I really did xD But still happy everything is clear up and I finally can build topiaries in my town xDD also one good trick to those who want Weeding furniture but doesn't have that much weeds =D just need to carefully TT-ing back and forth (care on dreamies moving).

For future reference, no, clovers do not count. I have them all over my town and I got the topiaries this morning.

I just wanted to add that I had the same problem as the OP in which Leif did not tell me I had unlocked the topiaries even though I had a weed-free, beautiful ordinance town since the start of the day. I also found out the next day that I did have the 3 topiaries available to be built even though Leif didn't inform me and instead gave me a weeding day furniture.

I'm pretty sure this is because I also talked to Leif first with my alt, then second with my mayor. I guess this must have confused the game somehow.

I even TTed back a day to try and re-do weeding day to get the topiaries but Leif gave me furniture again! I was freaking out about having to potentially wait until next year to get my PWs so I'm glad this post was on the forums to remind me to move forward a day check if Isabelle actually had them in her list(since you can't check PW list the day of an event).
