How to have residetns?

Well, I know some people have residents who are actual people. For example, if we take Tom's Ordon, he has a person named Zelda who lives in one of the beginning house. I want to have a friend live in one of those houses

You can have up to 4 characters in your town. If that's what your asking!

yeah you can make a new character when you just started up the game & you're talking to rover

i've made a new character so i could display all my gyroids in a house
