How to get villagers to stop wearing the same outfits?

I traded for Bea and she's wearing the patched clothing. I tried reporting her to Isabelle so she would go back her to OG outfit, which she did, for a day ? She would immediately go back to wearing the patched clothing. I don't want to give her clothes because she'll ruin her house with them, but is that what I have to do?

Flurry has also filled her house with four different outfits. If I start gifting her furniture, will she finally stop circulating these four different outfits?

Unfortunately reporting to Isabelle doesn't really work so your only hope really is to gift them stuff even if you don't want to, or to live with it

Talking to Isabelle doesn't do anything The best thing you can do is just gift Bea a ton of clothes so she wears it less often and maybe even cycles it out.
