How to Get the Silver Axe?

So, I know that the silver axe is on the island, and that it shows up randomly, but I've seen people who talk about using Club Tortimer to go to random islands trying to find the axe. I'm wondering how this works. Do you just go back and forth between your town and the island a bunch of times and have to spend 1000 bells each time? Or is there some way to leave the island and come back to a new one without having to go home?

Nope. Keep going back and forth basically.

I think if you go on a tour in Club Tortimer alone with no one else, it'll send you to a different island when you're done with the tour. Keyword here is "I think". It's been a pretty long time since I visited Club Tortimer so I'm not 100% but I believe this is how it worked. Just make sure the other island visitors don't come with or else it'll send you back to the same island.

It saves you the 1,000 bells but you also have to deal with a tour.

even if you go on a tour, you still go back to the same island; you pretty much need to exit the island and go back for the store to be refreshed

or you can purchase it from other players (either in the Re-tail or in the TBT market)...you might just be lucky and are able to find one cheap

just go back and forth everyday, that's why I was able to obtain them. there is no need for club tortimer. if you don't want to waste 1000 bells everyday save before you head the island, if you don't find anything you need then turn off the game. I actually have a few extras and I can sell you one if you want, just PM me.

Luck, and preparation, since it's only 8 to 9 medals depending on bell boom ordinance, go on tours while you're looking, build up medals from them, when you finally find one, but a TON, since they break, but you can sell them to people too who are looking, and make someone's day- not like I did that, and have 24 silver axes or anything- *cough* it's 25 actually, and I'll sell them eventually.

Haha, when I came across them on ct one time I bought a whole basketful for no reason besides the fact that I had the medals for them. To make them last longer though, use the gold axe the first two swings and then in the third use the silver axe.

But anyways yeah you have to spend 1k bells each time unfortunately. Going on a tour will clear out people on the same island as you but it will just return you to the exact same place, which kinda makes sense if yo think about it.

FYI, when you do decide to purchase some, it's sometimes best to use this method of starting a tour but not actually going on it to stop people from entering since people like to come in and out and they might decided to disconnect you like jerks they are. It's pretty rare so good luck finding it^^!

I've never found the silver axe on CT only on my own island and then only once in two different games. Its rare.

Yeah on the island or you can trade for one! I love my gold ax though!
