i have posted many threads today because i am clueless haha, but does one know how to get the amiibo invite option on the nook stop? i’ve visited harvey’s island and down photopia with amiibo, what else is there?

I've been wondering the same! I can't find info on it :(

Once you've gotten the first forced camper to move in, it'll unlock. You'll go talk to Nook and he'll tell you he wants you to be proactive about moving people in.

Thanks so much!!!
Is there any way to change/shift the forced camper? Also, is it possible to evict animals?

I have no idea. Unfortunately. I got stuck with Beardo. As for evicting--people are saying it is, but whether that's been actually confirmed or not... also no idea.

sadly, there's no way to change or avoid adopting your 1st campsite villager; you're stuck with who you get

as for evicting villagers, there's no foolproof way of doing so as the game doesn't give us an option to do so. the best way to move someone out is by time-traveling (here's a compilation of guides showing multiple ways how); if you don't want to time travel, the best you can do is not speak to them after you've introduced yourself, and then wait until they wanna leave

I think the only way to evict is to have a full (10 villager) island and then move someone in with Amiibo - This is how I moved Olaf out! Tom Nook allows you to pick who you want to leave.

If you have 10 villagers, you can also move people out with any random camper. The major downside is that you first need to get a visitor in your campsite that you actually want, and the second one is that you'll be doing a lot of talking to them to make it work.

First you talk until they want to move in, they'll 'go to resident services' and tell you that the island is full. They'll suggest replacing someone, then you tell them that this is okay, and they'll give you the name of one of your current villagers (I think they can't pick the newest one?) and if you don't want to swap the camper for that villager you exit the game and start over.

It can take a stupid amount of attempts, though... I once had three villagers I was willing to move out and had to invite my camper a total of 15 times before the suggestion was one that I was okay with.
