It is not spring where I am from so I have to TT to but I was told to pop balloons during then to get the DIY's

Do I have to pop balloons when its the week were the petals are falling ?

yes. to get cherry blossom/sakura DIYs, you must poop regular colored balloons during sakura season week in the game.

I was trying to tt to find fall diy but it soooo hard to find maybe the game knows im tt to find the recipes.

April 1st to the 10th. my advice is go to whichever end of your beach the balloons are coming from and walk up and down to look for balloons. Don't bother with the bunny day balloons just the solid color ones. In my experience the diys were more likely to come from red balloons but can come from the other colors. It took me several days to get all the diys. You can also get the young bamboo recipes that way if you want them. Good luck

In my experience the cherry blossom DIY's are the most elusive when it comes to balloon-specific DIY's ;-; Bunny day week just ruins the spawn rate for them (pls fix nintendo).
I gave up after spending too much time trying to find even a few and resorted to nookazon byebyeNMT

I played during Autumn in the game and got all those DIY's but when I tt to Spring its like nope too bad you gotta wait haha

Thank you but I'm from the Southern Hemisphere so for me it would be the months September, October and November. I just can't find which month it is that has the falling blossoms.

I always do massive TT jumps and everything is always fine for me

In this game, villagers never ever leave unless they ask you first.

I have always wondered once they leave the island they can never come back ? or if you find them again you can ask them to live at the island again?

Yeah, you can find them again or invite them back via island hopping, campground or amiibo. It was possible in New leaf as well, but in that game youd have to cycle through 16 villagers or more before being able to re invite an old villager back. So this is something that was very much improved on for New Horizons. Theres no limitations with bringing someone back in, no waiting period or silly cycle.

Anyway, yah. As long as your game is in the timeframe of seasons (OR events that have passed- like Bunny Day 2020) you can get the DIYs.

The cherry blossom ones, you mean? Yah, they're really nice! Just make sure to keep popping balloons... and I'm pretty sure you can get 'em in bottles that wash up, too. Or I could be wrong. But it never hurts to check the bottles anyway!
