How to get rid of tans

I haven't been to the island at all, and today I got a level one tan. ( I think it's level one)
Does anyone know how to get rid of it? I thought you had to go to the island to get tans only... ^^'

hold an umbrella and stay indoor's is what I did

lol I got one today and my skin is the same colour as my hair now
the above poster already a said how you can avoid tanning but it's fairly simple to get rid of
just wait 3-4 days and it'll fad after the 4th day if you don't go in the sun without an umbrella or some masks/helmets
or simply time travel 4 days
you can get a tan between july 16th till september something and not just on the island either. Apparently it's particularly strong around 3pm.

I had on a qr code dress that had a bikini top and it was pale while the rest of me is a bit tanned, it looked so weird! I hate carrying things and save mail in my pockets to hold all my tools and just equip them when I need to...so I guess I am stuck with my tan.

This calls for QR codes for bikini tops just for tanned skin color haha!

Just so you know, Tanning season has started so you'll get a tan even if you're not on the island.
Some hats can prevent a tan [though I don't know which ones], as well as umbrellas, as some have said.
