mkay, so i promised two people 500 nmt all together for 2 villagers, and my dumbass thought it meant legit nook miles, not the tickets, so..im struggling a bit..is there any way to get tons of nook miles so i dont have to keep them waiting?

i mean i guess there's:

(a) trade in-game currencies, i.e. TBT for NMT / IGB for NMT.
(b) you could sell sets for people to catalogue?

^ i'd say these are the quickest ways ;u;
 
I hope you're okay with TTing. The easiest way I can think of would be to TT a lot and visit someone else's island once per day and check your ADB for the free 300 once per day. Maybe do a few of the x2 or x5 tasks if they are easy. You're looking at a long slog for that, though. 500 NMTs is 1,000,000 miles. When did these people want their NMT by?
 
If you can't get them though, you could always explain to the people that you made a mistake and mixed up nook mile tickets with nook miles. That way you and them are both on the same page and they understand why they are waiting and you guys can decide together if you still want to go forward with the trade or not. 500 is a lot to get on short notice...let alone for 2 separate people
 
if you wanna TT (this first one probably qualifies as a cheat)
if you visit the ABD on jan 1st you get 500 nookmiles, you can cycle between jan 1 and jan 2 infinitely. apparently.

method #2
just TT day by day and do the x5, x2 easy/fast nookmiles+ missions

tomorrow, n i cant play until tomorrow night...i could always ask them to move it a day or so later...
 
Idk when you need to give them the tickets by, but ypu definitely wont get them anytime soon unless you get them by ehm... other means.... I recommend you be honest and just tell them your mistake maybe then they'll lower the price or give you some more time.
 
That's 1,000,000 nook miles, meaning you will have to do 6667 nm+ tasks for an average of 150 nook miles.

I really wouldn't recommend using time travel to gain them, because every seperate day you load counts as a new day, even if you just jump between Jan 1 and 2. But if you don't care about the date on your achievements, then this would also give you some peanuts on your journey.

An alternative would be to grind bait and sell it for NMT, but you'd probably be in the 6000 as well for shells you'd have to grind.

On the flipside buying 400 NMT is relatively cheap. Problem is you don't know if they're leftover duped items.
