How to get a thread moved?

So, I didn't necessarily post it in the wrong place, I just feel as if I'd be better if I posted it in another. Would it be possible if an admin or other mod could move my thread, or would I have to post it in the wrong place in order for it to me moved?

You can ask a mod. Just click the report button and ask "Can you move this thread to (insert board here)?"
