I just moved out Blanche from my town and Moved in Agnes. However none of them had the correct house exterior. This isn’t even Blanche’s house either. They kept the exterior from a previous villager I moved out. Is this fixable? I don’t like this house. How can I get Agnes’ correct housing?

Unfortunately, this is a visual bug caused by having a move in while time travelling backwards in time. The only way to fix it is to have the villager replaced with a new one and not time travelling backwards to have them move in, only forward.

Did you TT backwards at all during the move-in?
Not backwards, probably forward though. I did kick out the Blanche villager via an amiibo. And the villager before Blanche I kicked out through campsite.

I might have time traveled backwards though the first time ... I don’t really
remember.

I’ll have to kick out Agnes then and do the processs all over....will I have any issues getting her again through amiibo?

You shouldn't have any issue. This visual error seems to be only caused by time travel backwards, not forwards.

Oh ok, there’s no cycle I have to go through? I can just kick her out and then have her again right away?

No villager cycle. You could kick out a villager, say Wolfgang, and find him on your very next Mystery Tour.

I kicked out Monty for Rooney. TT forward always 1 day, to craft the things. Then I invited him, said goodbye to Monty, TT 1 day, TT another one and TT another one. And his house seems fine. It’s not Montys House, that’s for sure and it has Workout Stuff and a Boxing Ring as expected. Only the Wall is the same as Grouchos, but that could be a coincidence.

Maybe people are skipping days, when the place is sold and that’s why they have the interior.

The interior of the house is fine, it's the exterior that has the visual error.

Oh thats why. Hmm tbh i didn’t even looked at the exterior. Haha

Some of them look quite the same, so I might have not noticed.

Well, time to try it out with my next Amiibo.

Just used Rods Amiibo.
He has his original house and not Alfonsos House Exterior.

Either I’m super lucky or my Game is not glitched at all.

One was at night, but you can still see it clearly.

This happens to me when i travel past the "sold plot" phase of moving someone in.
Don't skip days when moving forward and you should be fine. Make sure you see past villager in boxes, then the sold land to the new villager, and the following day their house should look as it should.

To better clarify, if you're moving in an amiibo villager and kicking someone out, do NOT skip the following day when the kicked out villager is gone and the house is gone. Unfortunately, if you have a villager with the wrong exterior, you either deal with it or kick them out and carefully move forward in time next time you invite them in.
