So I bought a cosplay outfit for Mikuru Asahina (http://download.minitokyo.net/The.Melancholy.of.Suzumiya.Haruhi.337573.jpg) but turns out it's too big so it keeps, literally, falling down.
I'm not handy at sewing or anything of the like and the people I ordered from don't accept returns/refunds so I'm not sure what to do. I want to avoid buying another one because it was quite pricey. I've tried bringing it in at the back with bobby pins, paperclips and pins but they keep coming off or won't hold it steady enough. Maybe super glue would work?

Pretty much get it altered. If you aren't confident in fixing it yourself, then your best bet for you and your money is to just find a professional to fix it for you.

Instead of super glue, use fabric glue. If you have a needle and thread, just sew on the inside on the side top of the chest area. It'll tighten the grip on the chest, and basically that's what holds the outfit up. You won't need to sew anywhere near the bottom or middle unless it's flapping around baggy. Just wherever you sew, start on the inside. If you're not confident in your sewing skills, have an experienced friend do it or look up tutorials

Never superglue a cosplay it does not end well. Just pay to get it altered, like everyone said.

Super glue would definitely not work I'm afraid. As you're not experienced in altering clothes, it would be best to take it to a tailor :) The good thing is taking things down a size is much easier for them to do than going up :3
