How to find out my playtime?

I'm really excited about getting a bigger town tree! I know I can check my playtime in the Activity Log, only there is a problem.

I bought a new DS, so I've played on both the old and the new one! D: Is there any way I can find out how long I've played total or do I just have to wait and see?

Sadly it's a wait and see deal. Even with the Activity Log you'd have an inaccurate time that you'd rely on, as the game counts time differently.

There isn't a way to find it out. Don't rely on the activity log. As Reindeer said, it's inaccurate.
