How to create another player and another island.

I have seen several videos depicting an island with more than one player and have even heard of people owning more than two islands. Can anyone tell me how that’s possible?

You can add new players by creating a new user in the Switch settings (New User), and then starting the game as a new user.

2 islands needs two Switch consoles. You can't have 2 islands on one console, even with 2 physical copies of ACNH.

I currently have two Islands with the same online account. I was able to download the game without paying for a new one because it’s a digital copy, but I think one of the switches needs to be set as the main because I can only use my switch app for one account. You have to set up a new user with your switch if you want multiple people on one Island.

Just set up a new user if you want more residents on your current island.

If you want a new island, you'll have to buy a new switch, tho. dumb, ik, it should be an option to have more than one per switch. it may be a thing in the future but who can tell lol

Everything is explained but I just wanted to say you can make even 7 new users to add 7 new residents to your island Will be a bit busy though, but it's more houses to decorate if you want

I have four houses in my new leaf town, just because I needed more rooms to put all the sets on display. I haven't felt the need since there doesn't seem to be as much for indoors and the outside themed furniture, you can actually put outside now.

Someone I need though created a second character for in their campsite, just so they would also have a tent in the campsite. Which I thought was a cool idea. You just can't upgrade their house.
