How to appear offline

Can someone outline the steps to appear offline when in fact you're online please?????????????????!
I'm sorry if I posted in the wrong thread for this :S

1. Go to settings

-Go to Settings at the top of the page
-Go to General Settings on the sidebar
-Top of the page says 'Invisible Mode on, Invisible Mode off'
-Click 'Invisible Mode on'
-Go to bottom of page and click 'Save Changes'
-You will see a yellow dot near your username in a post, but to others you will appear offline. A star will appear next to your name when it says the online users at the bottom
