how similar is your NL villager lineup compared to your NH lineup?

I've never had any of my current NH residents in any game before. Whole island hopping I saw some I've had before and like, such as Renee and Punchy, but I like that I'm making all-new friends.

None of my villager lineup is similar with my NL villager lineup, but i'm trying to return all of my NL villagers to my island. I love them all

In New Horizons I've mostly wound up with the same species I liked in New Leaf...pigs,bears,cats,ducks and squirrels.I kind of picked my favorites from NL and threw them in there with some of the new villagers from NH.

I don't have any from my NL town. I wanted a fresh start. My son has two villagers from my old NL town and three villagers from his though.

This is my problem. It's really hard to not have all the same ones that I know and love.

I decided a max limit of 2 that I already know. So I have Diana (current in NL) and Merry (previously had in NL but she moved out)

My only villagers I have that are the same right now are Punchy and Felicity. I would have had more villagers that are the same in NH, but I share my island with 3 other people so we all worked together to pick villagers that we could all be happy with instead of just one person picking all the villagers. Honestly, I would have been happy having all the same because they added new things to villagers personalities in NH, so I wouldn't have minded. But I am happy with who we are ending up with in NH either way.

Since I didn't trade online at all when I played NL, the villagers were all random move-ins. The only villagers I have that are the same are Static and Muffy as I bonded with them the most. In NL, I remember having Roscoe, Stitches, Rodney, Kitt and maybe one of the mouse villagers (don't remember the others from the top of my head)!

I know the feel! At first I wanted to get the same ones, then changed my mind and thought I'd only get new ones, but I missed some of them too much so it's a 50/50 old/new villagers for me! But nothing is set in stone

Ahaha completely different! I was quite young playing NL and didn’t understand villager mechanics so I just let people move in as they wished. With NH and the ability to “choose” your villagers, Ive definitely tailored my town to ones I really like.

Of course some nostalgia is a must! Diana is a returning member in NH and I plan on getting Rosie at some point (tho I think she was in my ww town...)

My first island had Muffy, Hazel, Lopez, and Beardo. All from my NL town.
2nd island has no one similar so far.

Most of my villagers are new villagers I don't have from NL. Skye and Wendy are the villagers I have in my island that I had in NL. I'm thinking about letting Wendy go when she wants to leave to try a new villager.

I had moved all my favorites from NL into my NH island except for Pashmina and Mathilda, whom I replaced with Plucky and Vivian. I ended up bringing Mathilda back though, couldn't get attached to Vivian.

At this point, half my villagers are from my NL town and half are new. I had a hard time getting as attached to some of my NL villagers- some of them just aren't the same. I like all the new villagers I've come across though, and they will probably be long term or permanent residents

I have three of the same villagers: Mira, Shep, and Fauna. They’re we’re always my faves and they’re not going anywhere

The only folks I've had in NL that are on my NH island are Colton, Zell and Ankha. So far everyone's new!

I have a lazy frog in both, that's as close as I get.

Julian is the only NL villager I have in NH.
If they ever bring back the Zelda villagers that will change though.
