I like to write letters to my villagers almost every day. I also make sure each letter is unique and talks about something new. I usually write about 4 a day and send them to various villagers. I sometimes attach gifts too. Does anyone else do this consistently? Or is it just me.
I try to write letters occasionally, but I have times where I don't for a while. I find it's easy to forget about, especially since the villagers don't really talk about it in New Leaf.
I used to send letters a lot in Gamecube. To be honest, one of the reasons I did was because I liked seeing Pete fly away from the Post Office.
I dislike the typing method in NL. I'd prefer to use the d-pad/control stick instead of hunting and pecking with the stylus. Plus the 3DS is too wide to use my hands like I was texting. So... I don't send them as often as I should. I'll send one to one of my favorite villagers when I can be bothered. But I usually can't be bothered all that often.
I don't have time to write letters to my villagers daily, but I do try to send out letters at least once a week to all of my villagers. Most of the time, I attach a gift as well. And I always send a welcome letter and gift to any new villagers. I used to be more diligent about sending good-bye letters to villagers that were leaving as well, but lately I've just sent the good-bye letter as part of my weekly rotation even if it's still a few days before that villager's last day.
Considering the content I write in them... I should probably be banned from writing letters to my villagers. Joke aside, not often. Maybe once or twice a month per villager.
I do the very same thing too, send them letters when I want them to change their shirt. I'll also send letters when I come across a furniture item that HAS to go in their house, ex a tiki torch and a fire other one space thingy for Phoebe.
Back in WW and the early early EARLY days of NL, I used to put thought and effort in my letters, but after gettin dry responses in NL I stopped.
I literally never do it, and have never done it. I might start to do it in Gamecube (when I get a controller to connect to my laptop since its emulated)
I do send letters when I feel bad that I did something, though. Like that one time I gave Rooney a rotten peach on accident... whoops...
I don’t send letters daily but I do like to try and write them a few times a week at least! Usually I send them to my villagers if I find clothing or furniture that I think suits them.
I should definitely write them a lot more often. I just think the typing method is really annoying, I’d send them daily if it were as easy as typing on mobile or my laptop, but using the stylus.. It’s really not ideal.
I should make it a thing to to it once or twice a week though, to increase friendship levels!
I used to write letters daily, but I got bored with it real quick. I now only do it when I find a piece of clothing or furniture that I don't need, but fits one of my villagers perfecrly. Or for things like birthdays and holidays. It's a lot more fun now that I don't force myself to write everyone a letter on a regular basis.
I tend to write letters every couple weeks or so. One to each villager. However if they're not someone I like very much usually it just says something like "Dear Hans, hi. From Denni" but I'll put a piece of perfect fruit in them so I don't feel as bad for it.
I try to write one or two every time I play. Just because it's so fun to write something silly, completely forget about it, and have them show it off months later. I also am not a big fan of how writing works in the game, but I usually don't write very long ones.
Oooof never. Only when I have to change their clothing. It?s so much work though because then I have to think of something cute to write since they might bring my letter up at a different time.
