So apparently you get 3k bells every time you update your dream address. With that said, how often do you update your dream address? When you do update it, do you pay attention to the time of day?
I personally update mine once per season to give my town a refreshed look and to make it feel new without being bored of it or wanting to reset. Winter's the only season I don't update it (usually because I'm too lazy and often am too busy around the holidays). I'm planning on updating it when the azaleas start to sprout (most likely when the blossoms are falling).
I tend to like picking specific times (usually between 4-5pm or 6-7pm) to give it a warmer and romantic vibe to the town. I'd love to update it sometime in sunrise/dawn with a purple glow but my town hardly ever allows that to happen. Sunrises in my town always have that depressing blueish look which doesn't suit my town at all.
I tend to update my DA maybe once or twice a year. And I pay close attention to season/time. My favorite is spring, 5pm, with cherry blossom trees. My next update will be so, and may update it again in the summer with a tropical theme. I like to change things up that way too. I'd say I'm about halfway done lol, taking longer than usual because I'm picky with everything -.-"
I update when I finish a landscaping project or when the season changes, so maybe like once a month on average.
I like having the illuminated PWPs lit up in my DA so the time is around 5pm or later. My current one doesn't have them lit up so I'm just waiting for trees to finish growing and I'll update again!
i update my dream address every season because i like to redecorate my homes a little to reflect the season! my town is complete so it would look the same anyway. i usually update during late afternoon or the sunset! i think those times make my grass and stone paths blend in nicer.
I used to update my dream every day, just for the money. But once I got the Tycoon Bell Saver badge, I didn't need the money any more, so I do it less frequently now--generally once or twice a week.
Well when I had one, I changed it once a month. Because I wasn't satisfied with the town. Hopefully with my new town I will be changing it no more then once every couple months.
I try to update it every single day that I play for the 5,000 bell bonus. I never really have a specific time set for it, though. It can be either morning, afternoon, or night, just depends on when I'm playing. The whole point of my town is to view it all the time from all different angles and lightings and settings.
