How often do you redecorate?

As the title says; how often do you redecorate your house?

I'm in the middle of redecorating my main room. I've been steadily working on the side room for a while now and I've finally gotten that to a place that I'm happy with. Now I decide to tackle the main room.

Though I keep thinking that I have things in my catalogue because of HHD which isn't helpful!

Pretty much never. I always have a theme when I create a new town or character. I go into it knowing what clothes, items, and patterns I want. Once I get the rooms done, they never change. Sometimes I'll add something new for decoration, but that's about it.

The only one I've ever redecorated entirely was Nurse Joy's house. I wanted to make a sun room and a nursery all in one room. I changed things around once I realized that Leif had items that would make the sun room even better. So I took the nursery stuff out and built another room to put it in.

Aw I love the nursery set. It's adorable. I know exactly what you mean about going in with a vision - I did the same. But I've tried to refine that vision throughout the years. So my main room is still going to be a cosy reception room but I'm adding in a fireplace and putting what I have in different areas.

I won't redecorate Belle's house. IMO, it's perfect as is. The only thing I'll do is swap pics. I want to replace Freya's pic with one of Filbert or Bones when I get them.

Ooh I love Bones! I think it's playing HHD that's making me antsy. I am quite enjoying it though (redecorating that is). I'm trying to get in orderable furniture that's sort of hard to come by so when I streetpass others they can enjoy it too

Not really. Twords the beginning, though, I redesigned it a lot. I was undecided on a theme at the time, so I experimented. The theme of my home used to be all pink with just pink customized sets in every room, but eventually decided it was obnoxious to have a bed, closet, and couch in every room so I gave my home a castle theme and I like it much better. I did move rooms around and things, but now I'm pretty certain my home isn't going to go through any major changes anytime soon.
My side characters, though, are still in the experimenting stage and I will likely change their homes a lot. Although with some of them I know what each room will be based around on, I still don't know the exact layout. Like, if I know one room will have some chairs, but I don't know which chair to use, I'll likely buy some different chairs I'm considering, test out different places in the room I can put them, and in the end I know which chair to use and where.

I'm redecorating right now! :> I've put my regular furniture away and I'm buying pieces from the Jingle set as they pop up. Can't wait to find the big Christmas tree! :>

Ooh I love the Christmas trees! I have a small one in my main room at the moment - there's no space for the larger one! Haha.

often! I'll design a room, grow tired of it, sell every bit of furniture, habe an empty room for a few weeks and then design another room! This mostly happens with my mayor's house, but I will fix my side characters' houses some day....

One of them has 1 room that is complete, two that are almost done, one that is a work in progress and two that I don't really knlw what to do with.., I'm thinking about making a gym in the basement but idk.

My second side character had one room I'm very happy with that is full size (I'll probably change a few things in it but ye), one room I like but idk if i will keep it, one room that is okay that i want to change, and three rioms that are crap. lmao. i'll remodel most of the rooms in this house smh...

in my mayor's house i currently have one room that is really bad (i'm working on a fish room but it's a mess atm)... i have one room that is almost finished, but a bit messy.... then I have an autumn rococo room I recently finished, a cafe that I still like, a lovely room (it's too pink but idk...) and a modern wood room. I still need to work on a few things in these rooms but atm I'm mostly happy with them ^^ I do change my mind quite often though, so who knows, maybe i'll change something up soon again
