I play everyday when I am actually playing an Animal Crossing game. Unfortunately, I no longer have my Switch for personal reasons, but I checked into my island everyday when I did have it.
I'm on a indefinite hiatus, it's a Shame as I played new leaf from 2013 up until release of NH, but this time I just don't feel as invested as I was with the old titles
It really depends on how things are going in my life. Sometimes I get completely hooked and play all day, every day, while other times I just don’t feel like playing at all. It’s tough to remember to check every day when I’m busy with work, and that’s when I tend to forget. Right now, I’m playing every other day, whenever I remember.
Trying to get back into the habit of playing everyday, but since I'm an adult now and have adult responsibilities (boooo) it's difficult to play as much as I want.
I hardly touch ACNH anymore and I went through an ACNL phase again recently but I'm taking another break. Currently I'm playing PC and WW pretty much daily, and Gamecube AC when I can be bothered to plug it in! PC and WW are very accessible to me as someone who is out and about a lot as I can play both on my phone (god bless the delta emulator !!)
I play Animal Crossing until burn out, then I don't touch it for months. I tend to play more when I have someone else to play with, because then I have to impress them with my island.
I boot up my Island every so often but I think once the update goes live and Resetti can get rid of excess flowers for you, I’ll probably play a bit more often.
The "I fluctuate between everyday and never at all" option definitely represents me, lol. With most of the games, I've tended to play them pretty frequently after I first got them, but then my interest waned at some point and I ended up moving onto different games. I ended up playing New Horizons the longest, playing it for 3 years daily before I stopped. I play it very infrequently these days, though I imagine I'll play it for a couple of weeks or so daily once the 3.0 update drops. On the opposite end of the spectrum, I only played City Folk for one hour then basically never again. So how long I stick with any given AC game definitely varies on a game-to-game basis.
Currently, I'm taking a break from New Horizons and New Leaf but I've been playing lots of Pocket Camp lately! Once 3.0 comes out I'll probably be playing NH a lot more though.
