How often do you go to online island?

I love visiting online island. Meeting new people, making friends, doing tours. Tbh there are some weirdos hanging out there too

Haven't gone for a long time. Originally stopped going as I got errored or trapped fairly often - surprised me how often, given I kept to my own region in the small hours (around 2or 3 am). Fellow insomanics or shift workers I suppose, there before me; bliss if I was the 1st one on the island as I could check if I wanted to buy and disappear fast.
I guess it was cos I was island hopping for items, as it saves as you enter & exit, annoying for other players.

Now I'm far more wary of going as the editing ability has increased a lot, weird what hackers can do now, not funny.
But I still want to go, oh well, maybe pluck up the courage & try again. I'm not very social, shy, awkward with other people even if its online - in some ways that is worse, as you can't see the other person & assess expression etc.

I usually only just go island hopping when I'm searching for a CT exclusive. I wish there were the option to "host" a CT island, so I didn't have to feel rude about interrupting someone just to leave right away again. I do try and go on when there are likely to be fewer people online, though.

After I got all the stuff I wanted I only went there to farm rare bugs.
Haven't played New Leaf in years though, played it for some years, and finished pretty much all my projects, now I'm waiting for Switch.

I used to go there very often to meet new people, but ever since I discovered online forums I don't feel the need to do it that often now. Now I just meet friends and trading partners in these forums and don't have to rely on the island anymore.

I use to go online a lot but I don't anymore really, because its boring and people are really rude online on the islands.

I never go, it’s either populated with annoying kids or hackers who are screwing too much up. Or erroring and then I lose all my stuff, or peoole begging for items/bells so you no thanks on the island.

My last with the hacker warping us around then ending up in everyone else’s town was more than enough for me.

I don’t mind hackers but don’t start screwing up my gameplay it’s annoying

You get some bad experiences but some fun times too. I like to live on the edge a bit so I sometimes go when I am feeling rash and looking for something different.Oh and you get exclusive items there too.

It's very easy to get out of any trouble these days so go for it, spice up your life.

Before i joined this forum, i would go like a couple times a week. I liked meeting friends, but it got kind of boring and so many people erroring and hacking all the time so i stopped. I enjoy people coming to my town just when i give things away or sell things now

Oh I read it wrong. I didn't see the online word because I am blind, lol. I have never been to the online island. I am a solitary player and honestly, have heard nothing but negative interactions between people who go there to play and others who are simply there to make trouble, scam or behave rudely.

A: Not that often actually. I only go to the island for either the CT exclusive items or just to get other items (fruits/bugs/fishes/etc.). I feel pretty awkward interacting with other players since I don't really know what to say to them. Just prefer to do what I came to do and just leave immediately when I'm finished. But... I do feel bad when I can't keep a conversation going when someone is talking to me on there. :T My experiences on CT are pretty much just neutral. Not that good. Not that bad. Just want the stuff.

Very rarely. I think the only reason I go to the online island is that there's the chance to find the striped diving suit there.

I don't go at all, especially nowadays since I play rarely and when I do play I just want to stay in my town with my villagers and do some landscaping or things like that.

Its a fun place yes theres some bad people who will mess with you but. Ive met some good people
