How often do you get new fossils?

For non-TT, how often do you get new fossils? Is there anyone who has played since Day 1 and has a completed set? If so... how?!? It's been 10+ days since he has taken any of mine.

I don’t TT - I also got to the stage where he wasn’t taking any of my fossils for weeks. I figured out that I only had 4 fossils left and traded for them on the forum.

I'm at a point in my life-- and have been for a while actually, where I don't even dig up fossils. Blathers is always too excited to see me, despite the fact that I've told him countless times that I'm only there to make a quick delivery and move on with my day. He doesn't get it, and so I figure the best course of action is for me to avoid donations henceforth.

No TT or trades. There are always 4 new fossils everyday and if you don't find 1 it will still be there the next day (so 5 the next day because you only found 3 the day before). I still only have 68 of the 73 and honestly it's getting increasingly difficult to find new fossils!

Interesting... I didn't think it was possible to get more than 4 per day. I haven't dug a fossil in weeks, still only 4 buried. Havent tried specifically leaving 1 buried, so I'm not sure. But I've never found more than 4, so I'm a skeptic!

No TT and it’s probably been 2 weeks since I’ve found a new fossil. I keep getting diplo parts, sometimes multiple on the same day!!! Really frustrating but I want to complete it on my own without buying any from other people.

I don't TT and I actually completed my fossils yesterday! Could be luck, but I did get a few from some mystery islands. I did go through like a week drought of not getting any new ones before completing them though :0

Well, this has been happening both to my and my boyfriend since day 1.Sometimes we can't find 1 fossil, next day we have 5 (even happened to me today). Haven't tried leaving more than 1, so I'm not sure there what the limit is but probably won't work if you leave all 4? Just give it a try if you're skeptical

I think I have like 3 fossils remaining and I'm lucky to get a new one once every few weeks at this point. I don't believe I've traded for any fossils on this island, but I do try to trade my extras away since the last fossil can take forever.

I don't trade fossils or TT and as of right now I have 8 left. Today I found 2 new ones and I'd say at least once or twice a week I'm still finding new ones.
