How often do you charge your 3DS?

I either leave it on the charger whenever I play, or have it lose all of its power in one session. Overall, 1-2 times daily.

Usually I just plug it in before I sleep. I don't really play when I'm outside my house and I just turn it on for streetpass... so when I'm playing it's almost always charging.

once every two days on the lowest brightness setting

battery lasts less the higher the brightness, and it runs out kinda fast in general(i think it's because of the wifi, not sure). depending on how much you use it it doesn't sound like you have battery issues

Yeah... I'm always on highest battery setting, Wireless on, no battery saver, and 3D. Always.

Tech tip: Don't overcharge it or the batt will rip. No joke did you know battery life will decrease over time after 500 recharges it may be only around 60-70%

charge it 3hours and 30 mins

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think overcharging is a big issue anymore.
Modern electronics turn off before the battery overcharges. That's why when something is done charging, if you plug it back in directly after, you'll see the "charging" light on for only a bit, and it will shut off shortly after.

whenever the battery goes red b/cos that is the color of death and SATAN

and also angels!

Almost everyday because I play a lot XD Or every other day if I don't play a lot.

I don't think so, it's better if you read thr manual before using.

I love my gadgets so much no scratch and I upgrade. I handle it with care :)

i just leave mine charging round-the-clock as I dont have time to play everyday (sometimes for a whole week or more!) and have found that the times i've kept it unplugged, come my day off, it's utterly dead :c

About once a day, which is too much, if you ask me. I don't play with any 3D settings and what not, and I rarely play for more than 2 hours, so having to recharge the battery so often seems like way too much (I'm guessing what drains the battery is the WIFI, but still!).

I charge my 3DS everyday. I usually play during the day without charging it, and I plug it in before I go to bed. :)

When I play it frequently, I'll charge my XL roughly 3 times a week; only charging when the system practically dies (the red light flashes). I've always liked discharging my electronics before recharging them lol
so in general then, i suppose i dont charge it very often!

The only game on the 3DS is Animal Crossing, which I play everyday. I always start out unplugged, but more often than not, I have to plug the charger in by the time I save and quit. I usually play anywhere between 45 minutes and 2 hours.

I don't think your battery has any issues. I think the 3DS just has exceptionally poor battery life in general.

Mine is rarely not plugged in(then again, two hours off charge and its in the red.. damn my 3DS and its being bought before the price drop lol)

I'm curious as to what the manual says on this issue? I looked through the pdf file of it and couldn't find anything relevant.

That being said, I usually charge mine 2-3 times a week. I don't get a whole lot of play time haha...

Usually when it turns red, I find it lasts a bit longer but barely. My battery has been dying faster so that's why I don't charge often.
