How obsessed are you with AC:NL?

I got my ds on the first of this month, and I'm hooked.
The villagers keep telling to get some rest haha.
I found tbt today and have been browsing so much, I love this site :)

I've been playing for almost 2 years now. I love it so much that I have 5 copies of it. I love all my towns so I didn't have the heart to reset any of them. My first town has all gold badges ( except streetpass), over 2400 dream visitor, and I would be embarrassed to tell how many hours I've played.

I'm the same... I play a lot and when for some reason I can't, I make sure to take a note of the last "play-day" so the next time I get on my dream villagers are all still there.
I have four copies of the game, one for myself and the others for my 3 daughters (all presents hihi).
My children don't play as much as I (luckily !) and have a lot of schoolwork, so I frequently am supposed to "manage" their towns too :)
In comparison to the other versions of AC, New Leaf is by far the best for me... (I won't be getting that Home Designer game though)...
I don't have the heart to reset any of the towns, although sometimes tempted.

So obsessed I am not only doing an anime convention presentation on Animal Crossing, but I've been dreaming about this game for several months- not little things either, it's where I'm playing this thing, coming up with ideas for it, even though I've had it since just after launch... Can someone say obsession?

Back in the day I used to be VERY obsessed to the point with ACWW where i would constantly have strange AC related dreams haha and constantly talk about it with my friends at school, even pushed a few people away as i never shut up about it haha, now I have ACNL but I am nowhere near obsessed as I used to be with the game, but saying that I'm always on my 3DS XL checking my town or interesting stuff haha

I think this game just absorbs you from the very beginning. If you like this kind of game you're just gonna be addicted for some weeks and then just take it easy. If not, maybe you just get tired from it soon and probably never play again.

I played it for around 350 hours and started to feel a little bored. Stop playing for some months and now I'm playing it again like the very first day :)

Obsessed enough that when my friend dropped her dollar yesterday I told her she dropped a bell. Also, I am on TBT A LOT. At least 3 times a day. I play A LOT.

When the game out, I played every day for long hours. I got pretty much my town paved and completed with all the villagers I wanted, my catalog almost complete, etc... I had to stop because of school but since it's summer, I'm picking it up again to finish getting all the gold badges and finish catching everything with my other two characters. I might rearrange the houses too.

It depends on if I have a lot of trades on a day, if I do I could spend a good 5 hours on my DS (including working on my own town). When I am not on my DS I will be checking TBT and ACC often for updates on orders and trades that I am dealing with. I do spend a healthy amount of my time outside and working on school work/other hobbies and I will take a couple days break of ACNL for a day or two.

I'm actually not THAT hooked because I'm having a hard time with the slow pace of the game. Either I don't play well, or making bells is just really too hard in order to make any proper progress.

Regardless, I still play every single day for more than two hours at the very least.

After playing a good 1200 hours worth, I stopped playing. It's been fun, I got all of the dreamies and villagers I ever wanted, a fully developed town (perfect) with almost all items in the catalogue. I also had a cycling-town where I also achieved a perfect town, got all my dream villagers, and several million bells.

Hmm...I'm not sure, actually. Compared to other people, I wouldn't consider myself obsessed. I only have 4 dream villagers and I've still got to pay off my loan/earn a perfect town rating, and I got my town in June. I have a LONG way to go.

However, most of my progress was done during the summer, when I didn't have school. Now, I can only make time to play on the weekends, so things are going pretty slowly.

I don't think I am. I'm pretty much putting everything else (schoolwork, art, reading, etc) before AC. I'm sure I'll get back to it once summer starts.

I'm so hooked that I have three copies tbh. I keep coming up with new themes for towns, but don't wish to re-theme my current towns. I also long for new villagers, but don't want to move out my other dreamies!

God, I'm HOOKED.

Like so hooked to the point where I NEVER take my acnl cartridge out of my ds. I almost never play any of my other games either. I bought Story of Seasons a few days after it came out and I've gotten through the first season. I bought Majora's Mask when it came out and I have only gotten through the first dungeon. ACNL takes over my life. XD

Very obsessed! I have 3 towns going right now and play on each everyday despite working full time and have a family to see to.

I like completing at least 3 characters’ houses. 4th character for resetting in case a plot lands in paths etc.; have millions of bells in all mayoral accounts, catch and donate ALL bugs and fish. Complete the museum collections. I am so obsessed that I have all three towns set in different seasons so that I can visit to catch available bugs/fish for any new towns I start. I am have requested to be added to a challenge about to start here on TBT so that the excitement can start over again – 4th town!

I always move around with at least one of my DSs in my bag.
