As of right now 2247, which is more than I thought it would be! I'm currently trying to make every DIY I have and I've been keeping them, in addition to all the stuff I have saved and all the clothes. I have lots of clothes and lots of materials, plus a lot of stuff I put out for Bunny Day, Halloween, and Toy Day.

Not too much honestly. I just had materials in there for convenience. Everything that I needed for my island, I had on my island already.

I have like 4000/5000 now, lots of duplicate items. I just throw things in there since I have so many storage sheds around my island. Eventually I'll clean it out one day.... is what I tell myself anyway lol.

I just cleaned out a bunch of things I don't use/need, so I'm around 3,000/5,000 right now. I'm pretty good on catalog items I need to keep, so it'll probably stay in that area now.

I have about 800 storage space. I don’t fully expand my houses so I’m limited. My storage is usually almost full. Usually I’m about 10-20 items from being full.
I have five different characters, but only use the storage from my main character, and a little bit from the remainders. Mainly to store trivial things I might decorate their houses with.

Too many to count…. I definitely keep all the seasonal stuff in there. I have a lot of furniture to begin with, so there’s a lot of that, too. Some raw materials (iron, clay) and crafts need to be put to use— but for now, they’re collecting virtual dust.

I think I'm at 3988/4000.... I keep getting rid of stuff, too. I have two other villagers on the island, so I usually dump items in their storage now. I am definitely organizing a giveaway once the island is finished!

I only have about 800-something items, and the majority of them is materials and posters. Furniture and clothing items kind of take up a lot of space as well.

I have multiple accounts in my island because I tend to collect all the stuff I see... I'm such a maniac, I know.
Actually I have one account for furnitures, clothes and foods (5000), another one for photos, posters, critters, arts and models (2400) and one last account to storage materials and tools (1600).

Whenever I sell or donate anything, I quickly buy it from catalogue. I can't separate myself from my stuff, I feel like Scrooge McDuck.

I was at 4000/4000.. didn't realize until I saw this thread that I had neglected to buy the last storage expansion, so now I have some space again. I'm definitely a hoarder.

Oh gosh probably close to the match. I have just stacks of crap in there. Tons of nook mile tickets, gold, star frags, materials that i just have no use for. I need to sell some of it, but ugh lazy. Also have tons of these gyroids.

I have just over 4,000 items in storage. I forget the exact number. I really need to go through it and get rid of or use what’s in there. I keep buying furniture thinking I will use it to redecorate my house.

over 3700 currently, almost all of it clothing/accessories

trying to get as many clothing/accessory items as possible jammed in there (though I already know I won't be able to fit everything everything). still, I should be able to get everything even remotely of interest for me.... provided I find it all lol

Mine is at 4300/5000 and I'm sure more than half of it is junk I'll never use. I probably won't bother cleaning up until I hit the max tho

Between 3000 and 4000 out of 5000 for my main person, but for the second, between 1000 and 2000 out of 5000. Though I maybe transferring more over from the one to the other, like my gyroids.
