My cycle town is worth 29mil with an extra 7mil for the catalog. Curruntly checking my main town and I'm interested to see how it compares :)

I'm kinda anxious about trying it bc I'm clumsy and I'll probably end up deleting it by accident.

I got 25 million for my old town. :')
my catalog was worth almost another 2 million but lol keeping it was clearly a much better decision

i reset mine yesterday and it was worth about 24mil with catalog. nice sum to go with my previous 15m

Haha, I was like that. If you know the signs for what means you can't sell it, that's basically all you need to know.

How do you check the worth?

You tell Isabelle you wanna restart, she'll do the normal dialogue, select "This is what I want". If your town is eligable to sell, she'll ask you if you plan to start a new town or take a break. Pick start new town. If your town is ineligable, she'll she'll simply give you another chance to back out.

Mine was a massive amount, over 800mil. I'm guessing because of all the flowers/items I have? Not sure. Don't really know how the worth is worked out

I am keeping my three towns. (They are listed in my signature. I will have to get for each of them new Dream Addresses.) And I'm going to do that because of the work I put into them. Another reason is because of the villagers I have there. It's like a bond.

I imagine I would get the most with Applewin. But, the layout designs for both ACNLpics and Foster are better. Some of my blog entries have better coverage of Applewin. But, I did post topics on ACNLpics, which uses human houses as museums as picture displays, and Foster, which isolates a community/park area on the northern part of town (while residents live on the southern side).

I would love it if my first town, started on August 17, 2013, and which is Applewin, was worth that much. (No. 1 flaw is not having nearly 100 percent of the bugs. But, the tree is at the highest level possible.)

I was watching a YouTube video yesterday [Saturday, November 5, 2016] which suggests the installment plan. (It's sort of the like the U.S. state or multi-state lottos in which you can max it with installment rather than lump sum payments.)

This is a town that I've had going from June 11 2013 so I had everything completed. I didn't delete it though, I was just curious to see its worth.

You get more bells via installment. However, at 999,999,999 Bells it glitches and the installments end up actually giving you less. It was something like 999,999,100 with installments (cant remember the exact number) I think its because 999,999,999 is the Bell cap so it glitches when you try to add more.

If you can't sit on your town tree Isabelle just resets your town. Just saying

1.7k+ hours in my town, I think I'm good

though I imagine all the unorderables on my beach and elsewhere would kill a lot of the value (then again, if I was to reset I'd move all that stuff to another town first, so...)

I hesitantly asked Isabelle to reset my oldest town and Nook showed up.

He offered me 28 million bells with an extra 9 for the catalog.
My mayor has 10 million in the bank.

Funny thing my is this town has tons of stuff on the ground but Nook still gave me an offer.
So I'm going to clean up my town and then see what Nook offers me. I need a fresh start!

did anyone with a completely full catalogue (all dlc included) pre-update check value?

I'm curious what catalogue value would be at that point (even if I 10000% would never sell my catalogue)
