It depends where you live, tax is different everywhere.
Ask your parents what sales tax is where you live. Take the price of the ps3 and multiply it by 100+sales tax %. So if tax is 7%, and the ps3 is $400, multiply 400*1.07 to get the total price.

Well, look on eBay. Especially if you want one that can play PS2 games. That's where I got mine. Shipping was free, it was about 30 some dollars cheaper than most deals on PS3s around Black Friday. Research what model you want first, then come back and ask.

Anyway, in Ontario, the sales tax here is 13%
So if the PS3 is $400 here, that comes to about $452.
