Just counted. 22 non amiibo move ins and 2 amiibo move ins so 24 all together and I've had this game since launch. :v I don't let anyone move and now I'm pretty bored of my villagers but I can't let them leave :v
Oh man I couldn't be bothered to keep track of that or sit under my tree long enough to count but since I've had the game for 4+ years I've probably easily had over 100 villagers.
In my main town I've only had a dozen since restarting it but a lot more in my 2nd town which is basically a dumping ground with the bell boom ordinance.
In my first town which I had for over three years, I had 55 villagers. My current town, which I built in November, has had 31 villagers so far. Since I've had five of them in both towns, I've had 81 unique villagers in New Leaf so far.
I just told Bonbon that she could move, and I think I'm going to scan Epona in to replace her. Epona will become the 13 villager in Salem. I've been thinking about letting Hazel go, though, so that would put me at 14 with her replacement.
Not sure if I'll let anyone else go. I become far too attached to my villagers.
I've had so many.. I was actually using this super helpful website to keep track of all of the villagers I've ever had in my towns. I ended up deleting the list because it got too long and started to cover up my other lists. Lol
I have been playing for a while, but I took a 3 year long break, and before that, a 9 month break. I just started playing again beginning of August. I have had 4 villagers move out of my town, Rizzo, Mira, Ruby, and Mathilda. I have 10 villagers in my town right now meaning that I have had 14 villagers total
I think I've had 19 villagers in my town (lul not related to my username I swear). Alfonso is moving out today though so his replacement will be number 20!
