Since I can’t have more than one island on ACNH, I’m thinking of picking up a 4th copy of new leaf, or maybe I’ll just download this one from the eshop on my second 3ds. I noticed the physical copies are quite expensive now, are they no longer making them? Because it’s still for sale on the eshop for much cheaper

I have two towns. Sakura is completely finished except that I still cycle villagers in and out occasionally, so I mainly just check in and do daily maintenance. Nocturne is the town that I'm currently working on and spending the most time in.
One because I can barely manage one lmao.
I bought digital and I DID think about buying a physical copy when Welcome Amiibo came out for the collector inside me, but not for the purpose of having two towns.

i initially had one town that i deleted because it just wasn't very me anymore. i re-made in early 2017 and only finished the town a few weeks before NH released. i also nabbed a welcome amiibo copy off amazon at some point for like, 6 bucks? and started, but other than fauna being my starter there and peaches my native fruit, i absolutely haven't cared about it or explored it at all.

I have two New Leaf towns. My first one, which I started in 2013, is 100% developed and I have just about every item in the game. I got a second New Leaf cartridge in 2017 with the arrival of the Welcome Amiibo update. That one has pretty much just been used as a holder for Amiibo-specific villagers that I wanted to have but didn't want to kick anyone out of my first town for. I'm sure my second town could be just as nice as my first if I put in time and effort, but with college and other distractions going on I barely touch my 3DS anymore.
I have two acnl towns: one is my main named Rosewood (i reset it some time before New Horizons came out), and the second one is my horror dream town! I also have a Wild World town titled Pallet after the Pokemon town : p

At last count, we have 33 active New Leaf towns. 5x8 notepads and 8x11 Spirals are essential to keep track of where and when they are...

my first one I poured my heart into and still love to this day, so many good memories! there are still parts that can be developed and I go back every once and a while to check on everyone.
I initially downloaded a second one on my 3ds for cycling before amiibo cards came out, and still use it for occasional sale of villagers via amiibo for bells to develop my towns!
I bought another copy cause I wanted to make a themed town but never established the theme, so I never made it. I do hope to go back and make another when I get the chance tho! I think I just got tired of playing NL for many many years haha, but I know I'll go back to it in the future.
