I?ve never reset my town and I don?t think I ever will, I?m still playing my first town since release in June 2013.
I still have my original town since release, but I haven't actually loaded up the save for close to a year haha.
On my second cartridge however, I don't really know to be honest; it usually goes like I'll make a town, play it for about 2-3 weeks, then not play new leaf for a month or so, then reset and try again. Gonna try and stop that though, as the town I make after this last exam I have on Monday I will try to keep for a long time.
Not looking forward to trying to find a good map though (i.e. 12 hours of Rover and his creepy face) :/
